Links and Local Information Tug boats ply the river at high tide.

Comox Valley, known as "The Land of Plenty," has a large variety of activities.

While staying in the Comox Valley, you can walk to the river and watch the many different species of birds which live and migrate there. Tug boats used to pull booms of logs up-river right along-side Dyke Road.

In the Fall, salmon migrate past to spawn upstream. A world-class shop offering Comox Indian art work is also along the waterfront Dyke Road.
